There is still no confirmation on who will be sitting in the big chair in Parliament House yet, but in the ACAPMA offices it is all full steam ahead with preparations for the ACAPMA Conference in Canberra later this month.
Nic has been in contact with both major parties and the key independents in this interesting time in Australian politics. ACAPMA’s message remains the same – ours is a complex industry, and policy must be ‘informed’ and based on open dialogue with the organisations on the ground, if it is to work.
Since returning from the ACAPMA Trade Member: New Sunrise’s i.c.eworks Conference, where he presented on the role of the Forecourt in Retail Success, Nic has been meeting with the Board, Trade Members and industry contacts out of Sydney.
ACAPMA has again been asked by the ACCC to comment, this time on the acquisition of BP Reliance by BP Australia, and Nic has asked me to let you know that any comments can be forwarded to elishar@acapma.com.au .
