Servo worker threatened with screwdriver

JAYNE RICKARD, The West Australian June 21, 2010, 8:09 am

Three men threatened an Ocean Reef service station worker with a screwdriver before throwing cans at her and fleeing with money yesterday afternoon.

Two of the men entered the store, on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Marina Boulevard, about 8am while the third man waited outside in a stolen vehicle.

Police said one of the men was wielding a screwdriver and the other threw cans of cool drink at the female store assistant before she locked herself in an office.

The men stole a quantity of money from the cash register before fleeing in the stolen Ford Falcon.

All are described as being dark-skinned and in their 20s.

The woman suffered a black eye and bruises to the back of her head.
