The ACAPMA Board and members join together in conveying their sincere condolences to Mr Scott’s family.

 

Allan was an extremely successful businessman - a true entrepreneur throughout his life - and we remember his strong connection with our industry over many years.

 

He built the Scott Group of Companies into the largest privately owned company in his home state of South Australia and was a national icon in the transport industry. He was awarded the Order of Australia and the Medal of the Order of Australia.

 

Allan is survived by his wife and four children.

 

Our condolences also go to his management colleagues and employees as it is a sad time for all.
