Police search for petrol thieves

Thieves have stolen a large quantity of diesel and unleaded fuel from Bell Bay and Mt Direction.
Detectives from Launceston CIB say the theft occurred over ten days from around December 20 to the start of January.
Video surveillance from the area is being reviewed and police are attempting to identify vehicles witnessed in the area.
Police urge anyone who may have heard of people recently attempting to privately sell diesel or unleaded fuel in bulk to come forward.
