Police are investigating a property damage incident at a Service Station at Woodville West this morning.
Police are investigating a property damage incident at a Service Station at Woodville West this morning.
At about 4.10am, a man walked into BP On-the-Run on Port Road armed with a metal pole and yelled at staff to get out of the store.
The man then began smashing up items including stock and a CCTV camera.
Staff left the store via a side entrance and called police.
Police arrived quickly along with the assistance of Dog Operations but the man had already run off and was unable to be located.
It is not known at this time if anything was stolen.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, approximately 30-years-old with light brown hair and an average build.
He was wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
